Scalable to meet your needs:
CORE has been broken down into modules so that both small and large dealerships can afford the latest software technology in a contract furniture business system.
Purchase one, two, three or all of the RPC Software modules at once. If a small dealership can only afford the order entry module and wants to add another module at a later date that is fine with us. When they are ready to add another module we can meet that requirement. This is true for all of the CORE modules. Buy them all at once or add them when there is a need and the funds are available.
Return on investment (ROI):
- Enter the data once and it is useable in CORE and most of the CORE data is also able to be viewed on the web from our Reports Portal, which is part of the main order entry module. This data can also be accessed through CORE.Vision, the web-based Project Management module.
- Once the purchase order has been electronically (EDI) sent to the manufacturer and they acknowledge the order, the manufacture returns an electronic vendor acknowledge. CORE can take what the dealership ordered and compare it to what the manufacturer has agreed to send and CORE highlights any differences. No longer does the dealership have to sit down and compare page after page after page to view the differences. The employee just looks for the highlighted line items and makes the adjustments. RPC calls it Electronic Order Acknowledgements (EOA) verification. This feature along will save the dealership hundreds of man-hours.
- Another substantial ROI is for the warehouse personnel. Now the dealership or outside warehouse management service, can receive product on-line and it is updated automatically into CORE. If the product is damaged then snap a digital picture and add it to the electronic receiving report. Now the dealership can view the damaged product and if necessary, attach it to the PO when they reorder the item.
- How much time is spent at the dealership reviewing pages and pages of shipping documents before the product can be received and scheduled for delivery to the customer? Now when the truck/s leave the manufacturing facility the shipping information can be captured in electronic form so it can be automatically uploaded into CORE. Automated Shipping Notices (ASN) will save hundreds of man-hours per year.
- Once the ASN has been implemented why not also automate cost approval. The dealership knows what has been acknowledge by the manufacturer so when the truck leaves the manufactures dock we can also capture the costs electronically and upload them into CORE. This will allow the dealership to substantially improve and accelerate the invoicing process. The Automated Cost Approval (ACA) feature will save hundreds of man-hours per year.
- How many different forms does the dealership purchase from your local printer? With CORE the dealership can limit or eliminate these forms. Some dealerships no longer use preprinted forms at all they simply use plain white paper and CORE adds the dealer information/ logo/borders/colors, etc. If the dealership adds a new remit to address or suite number or phone number just make the change in CORE and they is no need to order new forms.
- When a manufacturer releases a new catalog with new products the sales personnel or assistances have to spend time in the library looking up specifications and product ID's. Now with CORE the user can access the manufacturer's catalog from the order entry screen. A wizard will guide the user through the process and with a click of the mouse the item can be added to the bill of materials. If the dealership has used furniture in its warehouse they can create their own dealership catalog or a catalog for any of their customers used furniture they are storing. Another ROI benefit.
- If the user knows the product ID they simply start to fill in that ID and CORE will help you auto-fill the product code.
- Now CORE can help streamline your installation group by allowing the dealership to create time sheets, work orders and either manual or automated delivery tickets in the system. Then, should you need to search for any of this information it is easily accessible in CORE. If the dealership allows the installers or installation company to remotely access CORE they can print out their own work orders and delivery tickets or know where and when to arrive at the work location.
- If the dealership has customers that require B2B, B2C or EDI 810 and 820 then the RPC engineers can program to that XML architecture and CORE will accept this electronic XML format.
- If you have a customer that supplies their product requirements in an Excel spreadsheet format we can up-load that into CORE, too.
