 Does CORE have a payroll system?
- Because there are so many incredible payroll systems available in the market, RPC decided not to incorporate a payroll system. However, RPC can easily accommodate journal entries generated from your system to ours!
- I currently use a third party payroll administrator. How does CORE accommodate an outsourced payroll system?
- With simple click through manual journal entry functionality you can easily input manual payroll figures into CORE to provide you with accurate financial statements.
- I have a small warehouse with miscellaneous product, either damaged, over ordered or returned goods. Does CORE have an Asset Inventory Management system so I can eventually sell this product?
- CORE currently accommodates a limited inventory list through its work-in-process reporting. These reports can be sorted in various ways. However, CORE does not currently have an asset inventory management system. RPC realizes there is a demand to incorporate this into our system. Accordingly, we are working towards incorporating an AIM system into CORE and expect to have it perfected and ready for release in late early 2008.
- Does CORE have automatic bank reconciliations?
- CORE provides lists of outstanding and issued checks which can be sorted and/or exported to excel for purposes of performing a bank reconciliation. However, currently, CORE does not have automatic bank reconciliations. We are currently outlining specifications for automating our bank reconciliations. We envision having the ability to download into CORE from your financial institution bank balance, fees, cleared checks and debits/credits. From here, a simple click through interview would complete your monthly bank reconciliation. We are in the process of outlining specifications for this functionality. We expect to have automatic bank reconciliations available for release mid to late 2007.
- Do I have to come to RPC's corporate headquarters for training? We are a medium size organization and it would be extremely costly to have everyone come to the Chicago land area for training?
- RPC prides itself on putting it's customers first. We will accommodate your request for training at your location or at our headquarters. We prefer to come to your location for training so we can structure your training to your specific needs. Part of making certain you are happy is to know how your company operates... there is no better place to do that then at your office.
- Do you recommend converting our legacy data into CORE?
- Because legacy data comes in so many different formats we recommend only converting customer and vendor data.
- What about parallel testing? Do I really have to perform this function?
- YES!! Parallel testing is so important. We want you to be completely satisfied with CORE. Accordingly, we recommend parallel testing anywhere from 2 months to 5 months, until you are completely comfortable.
- What is the first step to implementing CORE?
- We strongly recommend and encourage you to assign a project lead from your organization to head up the implementation of any business software -whether it's our software or theirs. A project lead will streamline questions, assist with training and serves as a liaison between your business and ours.
- What if I have a quick question about how something works in CORE and I can't explain it over the phone. How can you help us?
- Our support team can readily establish a "GoToMeeting" with you and either take over your computer for a live demonstration or demonstrate to you on our computer how to perform a function.
